MEET SEAN
Sean Turner is a dedicated community leader, military veteran, successful business owner, and devoted family man. Born and raised with a strong sense of duty and service, Sean's journey has been defined by a commitment to excellence and a passion for making a positive impact wherever he goes.
While pursuing a degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012, Sean answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. During his six-year tenure, Sean served as an Infantry Squad Leader and was deployed to Iraq from 2008 to 2009.
Transitioning to civilian life, Sean brought his leadership skills to the business world, founding Buffer Insurance in 2018. Under his guidance, Buffer Insurance has flourished, employing twelve team members and specializing in providing essential services such as medical benefits for employers, Medicare options for seniors, and commercial insurance solutions.

He made headlines in 2022 when, following the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade, Buffer Insurance took a stand for life. While countless corporations offered to pay for their employees’ abortions, Sean and the team at Buffer publicly proclaimed they would be assisting with employee birth expenses and dedicated time off, as well as contributing to employee adoptions. This bold, pro-life stance landed Sean interviews with major news organizations like Fox News, where he unapologetically championed the pro-life message on a national platform.
Sean's dedication to service extends beyond the business realm into his personal life. He is a loving husband to Lauren, his wife of eleven years, and a devoted father to their three children: Zoey, Lily, and Daniel. Together, they prioritize education and community involvement, homeschooling their children and actively participating in their extracurricular activities, such as coaching soccer.

Sean is a dedicated community servant who has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of local residents. He has served on the Crime Control and Prevention District Board, where he advocates for safer neighborhoods and supports public safety initiatives. He also leads the annual Justice Shoot, a charitable sporting clay event that has raised money to support survivors of human trafficking in the DFW area.
Sean's commitment to our community extends beyond his professional and philanthropic endeavors. He is actively involved with For Liberty & Justice, a non-profit organization that aims to mobilize Christians to get involved in their communities, volunteers regularly at Mercy Culture Church, and leads a business group through Distinct Business.
